Where Do We Depart From and Where Should I Park?

1 min read

All Pride of Maui tours depart from Māʻalaea Harbor, located on Maui’s south-central coastline. This harbor is centrally located and easily accessible from most resort areas across the island.

Knowing exactly where to go and where to park ahead of time helps your day start smoothly.

Where We Depart From
#

Pride of Maui departs from Māʻalaea Harbor, a commercial harbor used by snorkeling, whale watching, and sailing vessels.

Your confirmation email will include:

  • The harbor name
  • The dock area
  • Check-in timing details

All tours check in at the harbor before boarding, so there’s no beach entry or shoreline meeting point.

Where to Park at Māʻalaea Harbor
#

Parking is available near the harbor and is commonly used by guests joining boat tours. Please make sure you pay for parking at a kiosk or QR code, or you will be towed by the harbor tow company.

Main Parking Area #

The primary parking area is located near the harbor entrance and along designated harbor parking zones.

Guests should expect:

  • Paid parking
  • Clearly marked stalls
  • A short walk to the harbor docks

Parking availability is generally good, but arriving with enough time to park and walk to check in is important.

Overflow and Alternative Parking
#

On busy mornings, additional parking may be used farther from the main harbor area.

If this happens:

  • Allow extra walking time
  • Follow posted signage
  • Avoid parking in unmarked or restricted areas

Your crew or check-in staff can help direct you if you’re unsure.

When to Arrive
#

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your scheduled check-in time.

This allows time for:

  • Parking
  • Walking to the dock
  • Checking in without rushing

Check-in closes before departure, and late arrivals may miss the tour, so planning a buffer is important.

What to Bring to Check-In #

Please bring:

  • Your booking confirmation (digital or printed)
  • A valid photo ID (if required)
  • Comfortable walking shoes for the harbor area

Everything else needed for the tour will be addressed during check-in and onboard.

Common Questions Guests Ask #

Is parking guaranteed?
Parking availability can vary by time of day, but space is typically available near the harbor.

Is there handicapped parking?
Yes, designated accessible parking spaces are available near the harbor. Crew members can assist if needed.

Can someone drop us off instead of parking?
Yes. Guest drop-off is allowed near the harbor entrance, but drivers should not remain parked in loading zones.

What if I’m running late?
If you think you may be late, contact the office as soon as possible. Arrival after check-in closes may result in missing the tour.

Once You Arrive #

After check-in, the crew will guide you through boarding and next steps. From there, everything is handled for you, your focus can shift to enjoying the experience.
