Is SNUBA better than scuba diving?

Maui SNUBA diving is safer for the novice than scuba diving, because you are connected to the SNUBA raft using a harness. A SNUBA diver will always be directly below the SNUBA raft. The harness is sturdy but light and comfortable to use. It will not interfere with the SNUBA diver's exploration and adventure.

Another advantage of SNUBA diving over scuba diving is the absence of the need for certification. There is no prerequisite special diving skill required to participate in SNUBA diving, provided you are a basic swimmer and 8 years old. No diving certificate will be required at all, as long as the SNUBA diver is in good health with no asthma or previous heart conditions. Due to safety reasons, the Pride of Maui does not allow guests who are on heart medications to join SNUBA diving.
