Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center

The Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center is located off of Baldwin Avenue near historic Makawao Town. In itself, the property is very unique, and rich with the culture of Maui’s history. Here, you’ll find a Maui wedding location that has roots in Maui’s agriculture days and Old Hawaii. It has since been revived as a historic art estate; a place for classes, workshops, exhibitions, and a host of beautiful events.

In the 1850s, the Hui’s property was originally a part of the East Maui Sugar Plantation. Later, in 1885, it was purchased by Henry Perrine Baldwin, then obtained by his son Harry Baldwin. The main home, also known as the Kaluanui Estate, was built by renowned architect C.W. Dickey in 1917. The essence of an Italian villa inspired the design of the house with an obvious Mediterranean influence in the finishes. It’s perched upon a hill with a beautiful courtyard, expansive lawns, mature trees, and coastline views.

Without a doubt, the Hui property provides an elegant location and a gorgeous backdrop for all indoor/outdoor events and celebrations. Here is a perfect Maui wedding venue for all to enjoy.
