·         We took the afternoon whale watch trip, and were able to see so many whales. My son is in graduate school and his focus is on whales. He was able to get so many pictures, as were the rest of our family. When we were at Molokini, a group of whales swam into the crater and they were literally right next to the boat. ·         Just wanted to write a quick note to say what an marvelous time we had on the morning trip. We saw so many fish at Molokini, and at least 20 turtles at Turtle Town. The food was great, the service was incredible, and the boat was so spacious and comfortable. The hot water showers were just the trick when our time in the water was over. ·         I wanted to write you a special letter of thanks. As my husband was getting out of the water, his watch fell off. I gave this watch to my husband for our 10th anniversary and it is very special to us both. We are heartbroken. One of the crew members told the dive master, and she went down and found the watch. ·         We recently went on the sunset dinner cruise, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, service from the staff, and cleanliness of the boat. The sauce used on the ribs was SO GOOD! Your chef was even nice enough to share the recipe with me! ·        Aloha, Pehea oe, This morning I received from Amazon your book "a new friend for Nai'a". It is wonderful and we are so glad to have a very special memory of meeting you. We often talk about the whales and you and what a spiritual experience it was for both of us on the two trips we made, both  were very different and we felt so privileged. I hope you have had word for your new work we have been thinking about you. There is certainly something to be said that the islands become part of you and want to draw you back again. Perhaps one day we shall make the journey to Maui once again. In the meantime I am collecting information for my talk on Hawaii and the whales next month and perhaps that is why I feel so unsettled and long for the magical mystical island of Maui.
